There are two 1.5 N16 airbox setups, one has the temp sensor in the pipe that goes from the wing into the airbox, the other has the temp sensor combined with the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) in the pipe coming out of the airbox (engine side).
If your N16 has a wire going into a sensor plug in the pipe from the wing into the airbox you'll need the K57i kit listed as 'with temp sensor in airbox'. If not you need the 'without temp sensor' kit.
There is no temp sensor in the kit, it's just that the 'with temp sensor in airbox' lit has a hole in the front of the filter and a rubber grommet to fit the temp sensor into.
The 'without air sensor in airbox' kit does not have a hole in the filter to stick the car's temp sensor into as it's not needed,
In any case if you want more power you're better off with a K&N panel filter in the standard airbox, an enclosed induction kit (will have to be custom) or a full induction kit with the filter in the wing (probably need to be custom too). If you're just after sound and looks the 57i is OK but pricey for what it does (not much without some other mods).
