Couple of questions pls

just picked up my new 1.4 almera si but i cant see a bloody thing of it cos its too dark so until tomorrow i cant do owt wit it.grrr.lol. neway, does it already have rear speakers or will i have to install some myself? also, from what car can i use the seats from in order to replace those which are in it as they are a tad too "busy" for my liking. any help appreciated.

It has some gash rear speakers either side of the parcel shelf.
Pulsar GTiR seats will go in, theyre plain grey and light grey
 
I don't reckon the back speakers are that bad at all... I'd probably still have them if I hadn't blown mine :( But seeing as I had to replace them I thought I'd go all out haha. Don't forget they're made by Clarion, that ain't half bad...
 
speakers are terrible in mine, clarion are shite :D got a set of orions in the skyline i want to steal... they're class quality

for seats, maybe get some sports seats, a bit of a better pattern, and the front seats are definatly more comfortable.
 
Upgrade to GTi seats.. They're cheap and very very nice :)
I may have my set going soon if I get these 200sx seats to fit ok.
Also, the rear speakers WILL blow if you upgrade the headunit at all.

mine havn't... and i have it at max quite often...

and you must have a GX mate. that not a nice interior imo
 
you can get max volume on standard speakers, thats gotta be rare! lol

If the interior is anything like my esteem was then i know why you want to change them, Looks like they got a white piece of cloth, put sunday lunch in a blender then poured it over the cloth, hey presto SICK!

GTi are great imo and are pretty cheap to get hold of, would love a set of GTiR seats though, they look mint!
 
thanks all for the reply's. just been out in it for half hour an its bloody lovely to drive. so smooth and the pick up isnt bad either!

one more question though...it currently has the original cd player in it and can be controlled by the lever stick on the steering wheel. my question is that if i put in the cd player which i already have (see link below), will i be able to use the stick to change the volume, track etc.

the adaptor at the back has a red lead spare which it says is to be used for "Accessory". will a lead from the current cd player fit this and be functional? sorry for all the questions :)

it doesn't, i have a jvc and i couldn't use it, just kate it off. there will be a small hole but not a big stick...

and yeah i can get full volume, with superbass on too
 
ill go and pinch my sisters sony 1 in a lil while then and see if that works. if it does ill do a sneaky swap.lol. if not ill just have the stick off and use me JVC 1. thanks guys
