I've finally figured out what bugs me most about the N15! Something always seemed wrong or out of proportion to me, just something didn't line up maybe.

It's sooo simple!

There's no flair at the edge of the arches! It looks like there's something missing, and makes the rear track look very narrow. even a small lip or flair would drastically improve the rear arches imo, maybe coupled with some custom suspension work to widen the track (without using hub spacers!).
 
Maybe its just me, but I think there is a certain similarity with the 1 series BMW, same estate-ish sort of shape.
 
people say it looks like an estate, i have mates with 106s, saxos, i.e. small hatches and only small kids have enough leg room in the back, plenty in the mera, might be a large hatchback but that because you get leg room.

and yes even a small flair on the rear arches would be good and much lower and smaller arches from nissan i think!
 
The mera isn't in the saxo and 106 group, it's in the golf and corolla group. Family sized hatchbacks. But the main problem for the 3 door mera is those insainly large rear side windows...
