The radio reception on my '03 N16 has been deteriorating. I've removed the aerial from the roof and cleaned all the connections (they looked good anyway), but couldn't separate the whip from the base (LH thread I understand).
Is the connection between the base and whip known to cause problems, or should I just buy a new assembly?
I suppose it could be the head unit end, but that looks like a right royal PITA to get out!
