Cross Threaded Wheel Nut! HELP ASAP

Hoping someone can help. Had a tuning bolt head fall off due to cross threading of the bolt. So i'm running on 3 nuts at the mo and due to drive across France Monday So at the mo i'm left with the cross threaded bolt left in the wheel and I can't get it out. Any advice?

no worries mate,

use a drill, most people do this when they loose the locking wheel nut key, or use a locking wheel nut key remover

Heat it Up tae fuck...i had one that wouldnt come out with tap and dye....Heated it and made a groove with a big flat head...Then turn

Why do so many people mix nuts up with bolts?

If the nut has been cross threaded just wind the fucker off and tap the threads.

Save the nut as well as the stud.

A decent hardware or tool shop will have a set, you might even get a set at a big B+Q.

Aldi are selling a tap and die set from Sunday for £15. Not too sure if it will have a big enough one for what you need though.
