Dash lights and Rear lights not working - how to check for cause?

Main headlights work fine, but the dash lights and rear lights suddenly failed without any prior warning. Checked all fuses under bonnet and inside car, and they are OK.

Do the dash / rear lights run through a relay? And if so, where and which one is it?

Any other ideas for quickly pinning where this fault lies?

And a similar problem but non-related to above because it occurred some months previously. The radio & CD has lost all power. This was lost at first intermittently (so not a fuse). Broken wire? Or what?

Any help would be much appreciated.

this happened me before and it was a blown fuse, unless your certain, id check these again.

fuse box to the right of the battery as your looking at the car think its a 15

Nope! That fuze is defintely OK - except the plastic cover on the fuse is distorted from heat - so there appears to be a story there pointing to a problem elsewhere. Tried swopping with another good fuse anyway just for good measure - but no change.
