Dashboard BLINDNESS!!

Hi all

When the sun is beaming down in the windscreen all i manage to see is a reflection of the Dashboard .. Makes it very hard to see and i Dont know what to do about it...

The dash is a light Grey in colour... its not even a dark Grey lol.....

I was going to post this in Problems/Fixes but I dont have rights..... hmm..

Oh and also, how do i pay for subscription as i want me AOC vinyls

Should i get the dash sprayed or should i simply purchase in a GTI dash?

Any help is appreciated :lol:

I get that as well. I try not to use any polish on the dash.

as Rowdy said try not to use that shiney wet look dash cleaner stuff & try the 'mat' finish instead

I use a cloth to lay on the dash if the sun hits it and reflects onto the window.

Dont have this problem and always polish my dashboard (well got an interior wax)! Maybe I dont get enough sun!!!

yeah me to, there isnt much sun up here in scotland anayway.

As for the dash,

you could go for the rally look, a alacantra coverd dash, may be pricey tho!

everybody over there uses these: It cuts glare and stops the dash from splitting in the Aussie sun.....

fits over the dash with a few velcro tabs... a bit utilitarian, but does the job well enough, plus its a bit different.... not many peeps over here with these hairy things!!!! Typical Ozzie idea
