its just adhesive vinyl cut to shapes, if you pop down to a vinyl supplier (graphityp are awesome!) get like 3metres of 700mm wide non-perforated thin vinyl (dont by the cheap stuff the expensive stuff is only like £2 a metre) and fit it yourself, use a hair dryer and take your time you can do some really good stuff! Im a printer and vinyl cutter myself and me and my mates at work do interiors all the time, even on door cards where having it sprayed with good designs would cost pretty serious money (for a door card) when you have a thin vinyl youd be surprised how could it can look!
Just my opinion i know may people will say its a shit idea just depend how well its done and really wot your taste is.
