This is my car 2 hours ago.

Came off a round a bout doing 40, 60 road though, then the back end went out and wham, id lost it. It then hit a kerb, which ripped the tyre off the wheel, then mounted the kerb, then the front end went up a railing, then equally balanced, it slid about 50 meters along it, stopping 3 foot from a lampost!!! It cost £200 to get recovered. Ridiculous.
Thankfully neither me nor my passenger were injured, but ive never felt the way I did, i felt like being sick. My little baby at head height. But the way this car railslided made Tony Hawkes look like an amature. My mechnic friend says it needs:
New Brake Lines
New Fuel Lines
Maybe a new front bumper
Maybe New indicators

But in the worst case scenario, the chassis legs could be bent, or the rear axel. Im not sure, but the car is deffo lop sided from the back. I'll take some more photos later on tonite when i get in from work. People please, hand me your condolences. lol.

Thats crazy when i first seen it i thought it must have been photoshoped cause it just looks unlikely to be able to do that. Ye you would have got a good few thousand points for doing a 50 yards grind in Tony Hawks ;) . Least there are no injuries though.

atleast ur ok mate and ur passenger, im so sorry to see that happen, its not nice for anyone.. :(
 
if any one wants any of the parts off this car, GTi P2, then either post it here or PM me. Im not going to get the car fixed, as the suspension arm is bent or something. Basically, everything else is intact, the engine and much more. the head lights are fine, indicators, rear lights, seats, steering wheel, rear and front bumpers, grill. If you ask I will give you a price. Also, i have 2 x 10Inch subs with an amp and wiring kit. £170 and thats yours. This is seriously doing my head in though. I cant belive it. I get my P1 Si back during next week sometime, plus a cheque for just under £1500, so i'll be riding in that for a while. :(
 
No mate planning on getting it all repaired at the start of next month when i get paid cos im still waiting for the insurance money :(
 
I'll take the driverside indicator if it's 100% intact and none of the fittings are broke. What I mean is if it's completely secure in it's fittings then I'll have it, unlike mine which has one of the arms broken I think.
 
Ok, Ive been advised to put the whole car on ebay as I can get more or something. Im not quite sure of the whole proceedure, but for breaking a £3500 car up, its probably worth just selling the whole thing. dont worry though, I'll post the link here, anyone who wants to get it, can bid.
