De-cat.....would it give extra horses?

I have a de-cat pipe with my powerflow exhaust. If I fitted this de-cat pipe would it release extra bhp, if so how much on average?

Also..... Is it an easy job fitting a de-cat pipe?

It should give you a couple of BHP it will give you more high end power im having min fitted 2moro only because its going on ramp anyways There are 4 nuts you have to undo to remove it! the hardest bit will be getting the nuts off without snapping the studs!

For what its worth it just adds noise really and the fact you have to stick it back on is a pain anywayz. For the sick of 1 or 2 bhp if that i think its pointless.

de cat on a completely stock GTi wont do much be mostly noise. Fitted in-conjunction with a header and cat back it will release some bhp maybe 4 - 6bhp top end, member every 2, 3 or 10 bhp helps :)

Mine has a SS manifold, one of these 4-2-1 things.....looks awsome!! And a full Powerflow exhaust, oh also a Apexi air filter, a proper one, not a fake Fannel thing instead of the proper Funnel :D So if I was to fit the de-cat I would see maybe 4-6bhp?

Would it make my exhaust even louder still as its loud enough already.... and due to it being loud I have just put an ad up for a swap for a standard exhaust!
