De-globe indicators

Searched for a guide but can't find anything.
I've bought a set of indicators from eBay and had a plan for them. But how do I seperate them? In the oven the same way you split headlights?
And will I need chrome bulbs or will amber be ok?

I could have but that doesnt bear the same meaning of what i did say. Seems you fail at language as well as life.

I couldn't be bothered sticking my indicators in the oven. Just used a screwdriver and pliers to break up the orange.

A bit fiddly and takes a while but works.

Chrome bulbs for the non egg-yolk look.
