Yeah most places can do it, it's just if they choose to
There are various methods - one of my diy favourites is to use silly-strong glue (had stuff called Redux at work - basic epoxy-type stuff) to bond a metal plate over the back of the hole left when you've popped the lock out, and then to just fill-in the hole from the outside and paint
Some places will weld a plate in but this takes a bit more skill to avoid rippling the metal door skin
heh, at the moment that wouldnt do me any good anyway. The lock on my boot has stopped working (only the barrell, releasing it from the lever inside the car works fine). Very frustrating but it seems a bit pointless to fix it at the moment.
