Dealing with N15s dash...

As summer appears to be here, albeit early, and the suns out to play near everyday, has anyone found anything effective at tackling the incredibly annoying shinyness of the N15 dash? On bright days when it reflects up on the windscreen its near blinding!

I believe dust is quite good for its non reflective properties.

Seriously though, you could get a coating of electrostatic flocking, as found on rally cars.

Looks cool too.

im a joiner by trade so sawdust graces everything i own, lend me your car for 2 weeks and you will have a perfect flocked dash :D

Theres stuff you can buy in the shops that doesnt leave a shine, canny mind what its called but if you go into Halfords you'll find stuff that leaves matt finish or says "no shine" etc. My bosses husband works for Jaguar so he gave me their car cleaning kit they give to customers so I use that and works a treat.

when i got my car it was uber shiny the dash, just layers of dash cleaner builded up

i cleaned it all off with turps/ white spirit, back down to the original matt finish, i just use a matt finish dash cleaner, to keep it looking good.
