Ive just put mine back in after passing the MOT
Once everything was tight I started the car and let it run see if it was blowing anywhere, it wasnt blowing anywhere but water was slowly dripping from the downpipe to cat join???
Condensation or residue from something?

Anyone noticed that?

if its coming out of the join it definatly isnt sealed proparly, mine does it at the tail somtimes

I`ve noticed that happen with a new joint sometimes. As long as its not blowing dont worry.

whilst I was under there I checked the downpipe aswell, it must be like a fraction of a mm from the engine block where it meets the manifold,

Mine was exactly the same mate. when I first fitted it I didn't think it was going to clear the engine
