HI Guys,
Just signed up so I thought I'd come on here and say hi.
Got myself a 2003 1.5 N16 last week and can't wait to start working on it.
Any suggestions for newbie mods are appreciated.

What do you want from your car with regards to mods then? Many things you can do for handling, but those engines don't respond well to mods, not very tunable.

Well I was maybe looking into suspension to begin with, maybe an exhaust (my backbox looks pretty crusty haha).
In terms of induction is it better just getting a replacement panel filter rather than sticking a K&N on?

Depends how much noise from the engine bay you want. A cone filter will make more.
