What's the difference between the dampers & springs of P2 GTi/non GTi models? I've a gut feeling my rear springs are on the way out as the car is sat a bit lower than it should be at the back. My donor GTi has good springs on the back but the dampers aren't brilliant. Are the GTi springs shorter and/or stiffer than non GTi ones, and will they fit with non GTi dampers?

i was told that the gti springs are shorter than non gti...well that the gti sits lower than other standard models...which kinda means they are shorter. dont quote me on that one though. :lol:
talking of springs i have just lowered mine only changing springs and having some real trouble with the front two....when i turn i can here them springing and when watched turning they jingle about...makes a right sound too and the left one rattles over any vibration....summit is really wrong and i have re done them 3 times! any ideas? its only the front two i have had problems with...thought they might not b sat in their cups right but seem to be fine...only other thought is doing it again but flippin the springs round. if that fails i will cry.
