Difference between N1 interior and VZRs

Some have orange bucket seats as standard.

I have a plain grey interior same as a mates regular vzr dash is exact same too, only differences are i have few electrics being a version 1 n1 and anything aftermarket. main differences are in the engine red top 8 injectors diff air intake pipe and few electrics if a version1, version 2 has orange interior skyline style seats and all electrics.
 
I Won One In Auction In Japland A While Ago And I Just Got The Pics Of It Toaday Just Wanted To Make Sure It Was An N1. What Would A 98 Be Version 1 Or 2
 
The Irish boys on this site will tell you all you need to know about vzr's, but here's my thought.

I think 98 would be a series 1, You should be able to tell if it has keep fit windows, it's most probably a series 1.
 
Race version has minimal electrics,windy windows,no fog light switch but that can't be taken as a definite answer to your question.Series 2 has retrimmed orange skyline seats,momo steering wheel n the likes.
All vz-r's came with full electrics.
 
98 will be series 11...97 were series one..your one will have the full electrics but is actually lighter than the series 1..interiors vary..some have the momo wheel and orange trim..some have the standard vzr trim grey/black..the lucino version has an interior similar to the GTI..good luck with the car..enjoy
 
the year on Japanese auction is the year it was first registered
I'm guessing a 98 will be a Series 1....

If it has power windows then its a Series 2... But I havent seen any S2s go through recently...

Not all S2s had the GTR seats and orange interior... That was a Factory option and it was rather expensive and not many people went with it... Hence why you hardly see them...

Seats won't be blue from factory...
and the only difference in dash is the fact that you won't have the folding power mirror switch or foglight switch..
 
Well i dont have the momo steering wheel or electric windows. what auctions do u be looking at. this car came up during the middle of the day so i bid on it then but again i got home from work it was taking back down so i guess thats the reason i won it :) dont think many people seen it. A white N1 went through a week later also 98 as well.
Also Which would win in a race an Altezza rs 210bhp or the N1.

n1 will p!ss on an alteeza if driven correctly...

altezza rs 151 bhp per tonne

n1 about 175 bhp per tonne..

A standrad vzr will keep up with one
 
My standard VZR kept up with one when over in England! Three in my car and a boot full of camping gear.

I keep an eye on USS and some of the smaller auction houses as well..

Some of them are late listings but if you put a reasonable price on an N1 at the moment you seem to be able to get it..

I'd put dibs on it being an Series 1 N1.... And if I have a look at my pics I might be able to find it..
