Dimmer Switch

Do we have one that dims the lights on the dash etc? In my last car there was a roller switch that dimmed the lights.

Or do people just say this refering to the switch that angles the headlight beams?

I think the left hand drive version of our car does, but not the right hand drive for some bizarre reason!

Have a look in your owner's manual if you've got one...pretty sure it's got left and right hand specs in there...and from memory...i think there's a blanking plate somewhere near the wing mirror adjustment - that's where it would be.

edit: AND I seem to remember getting excited about heated seats when I first got my car too...only to find that the heated seats were also a LHD feature and again, the blanking plate (next to hazards/rear sceen heating) reigned supreme :P

why would anyone want ti dim the dash lights anyway?

sensitive eyes? mazda 323f's have a wee bit to adjust the brightness. sure lots of other cars have option to do this too though.

I've now got this on my indiglow dials. Heated seats would of been nice, but they make you feel like you've done something which you really shouldn't have!
