other car sites saying that my car doesnt have a cambelt, rather its chain driven. when i look under bonnet i cant see a chain or a belt????
 
Ye chain, if you keep car dont skip regular oil changes, chains + gear love fresh oil bout every 3000mls with good 10w40. filter can be every other change + try a tin of engine flush before oil change.

chain driven and the chain is under the cam cover on the left hand side.

Thank your lucky stars you cant see the chain or you would be covered in oil :D
 
ah fair enuf, well it will be regulary serviced.

if its true abotu 3k oil changes tht's even more than my punto gt and tht was turbo'd..

its not really needed as such, i do mine every 2500 miles but its more my way of looking after it that it being nessecary, nissan recommed quite a bit longer iirc but you cant change it too often imo.

my parents had a 2.0 primera for 5 years, oil changed every 6 months or so, so about every 6-7k, bought it on 78k and sold it on about 145k with no issues at all, still ran sweet as a nut so aslong as there done pretty regular it wont give any issues.
