Dont know what adpater to get for sound!

Hey guys i know i shouldnt be posting this here but i couldnt post it anywhere else!
I believe i have an n16 nissan almera but when i went to change the head unit it doesnt have the adapters i expected and the adapter that i purchased fits into one of the slots but then their is just another port and i dont know where its supposed to go! can anyone shead some light on this or what adapter i need?

have you tried to see whether it works withoutt the need to plug that somewhere?

besides whats that brown plug there?

I tried to see if it would work without it and it didnt
The brown plug was the apparent adapter that i needed so i could plug it into my headunit
