Door Speakers

Can anyone confirm the size of the speakers that go in the front doors of the N15?

I'm looking to purchase some new ones from ebay possibly. Or if anyone can reccomend a good set at a reasonbale price?

Can anyone suggest a good reasonable priced set of 6 x 9s for by back shelf also?

most 6*9 speakers are fairly good. even cheapy sony ones for £40/50
a good head unit will increase the volume/clarity imensly.

worth choosing a well known brand i think#

16.5cm's fit in but the hole in the door isn't exactly a circle so can be a bit fiddly

for the front you'll need the vx astra or corsa front speaker adaptors ... on top of this i think you'll need to drill a hole for the top screw of the adaptor.

also if you're looking to change the speaker cable (cos the stuff with the car is shocking) you'll need to drill holes in the side of your door and in the side of the a pillar. make sure you get some rubber grommets to stop the metal from slicing your cables
