years ago i bought a 1.4 almera equation in white... did alittle modding, alloys, tints, exhaust, ps2 etc... then got rid for a honda prelude, i passed the car to my little brother, who hasnt treated it well...
He now has a new car and the almera is sitting on the driveway, needing a new head gasket i reckon...
Ive decided to have a go at reviving it and doing myself alittle project.
first thing i need is electric windows, which werent a mod con of the 1.4 equation... so my question is, if a get the doors off an almera with leccy windows, is the wiring all in place? or will i have to wire it to the loom myself?

When you open your door you'll see that black rubber which houses the wiring which leads from the car into the door itself - from where that black rubber enters the door is where the wiring will need to be changed from for the electric windows to work, its an easy job.

All you need is all the door wiring, the electric window switches, the electric window motors and the runners.

If you do put the electric windows in you will need different door cards to house the switches, best thing to do is look for a GTi interior with all the door cards aswell, as its a much nicer interior than what will be in your Equation mate.

Hope this helps.

im thinking 2 doors, wiring and cards from a Gti as for the rest of the interior, im thinking of a retrim further down the line...

what about the rear doors? i have an Si and it doesnt have electric windows in the back and i was thinking of putting some in...
Apart from finding the door card and all the stuff like the runners and motor what else would i have to do? like how would i get power to it etc...
