DVD & SAV question

Hi All,
A quick question.I have a Almera phase 2 and am thinking of upgrading to Sat Nav and DVD player with the colour screen.But as I have the normal non colour screen that shows the temp , mileage and air con ...etc will I loose that information when I upgrade or is there a facility on the new one for such.Thanks in advance lads!

Do not forget the controls are different on the sat nav version. I was wondering of buying this but then thought are there connections there for this

Yeah your dead right!Which leads me to my next question.Where do I get the panel with silver controls for sat nav?

The sat nav unit is coded to the vehicle via the NATS system, this can't be swapped from one vehicle to another.

After market audio will work fine, just the Nissan OEM stuff is all coded up. Even down to locking control units and BCMS on Micra are coded to the vehicle unless you know how to unlock them

I guess its going to be v.hard to unlock. if they can unlock its not going to be cheap.
