Hello!..one question

7x17 ET 45 would it fit to Mera GTI phase 2?? :confused:

would be at the limit for these cars i think. Would fill the rear arches out more than mine (et 38) but you may have problems up front.
 
Basically (depending on how you gauge off set) the way i work , 45mm will bring the wheel a little too far out for comfort at the front. Recommended offset is between 35-42mm in the Rimstock car application list i use at work when selling and fitting wheels.
 
i now that recommended offset is betwen 35-42...but will i have any problem with fitting 7x17 alloys, offset 45 with tyres 205/40/17 ?...And as i say, i got distances 10mm or 15mm not realy shure!?

Ahh got you now. Im running the same wheel/tyre pack you have described and am
-40mm lowered (more like -80 at the back now the springs have settled) and i have no problems with fitment. have taken a car load of people on a 3 hour drive and taken my girlfreids sister back to london witjh a car full of crap. You should be fine mate.

No, i run an et of 38 but i think you should be ok. Test fit a wheel to the front of the car before you buy them to be 100% sure, thats what i would do.

a 45 offset will push the alloys in rather out, the higher the number= the further in the arch, the lower the number, the further they stick out
a 45 on a 7" width will be fine though
