Evening all.. yet more questions

Evening from a newbie in berkshire, also the owner of a N15 GTi

I was thinking about signing up to the club for the technical section, can anyone tell me will this section answer the following:

How do I adjust my clutch cable?
How can I check the wear/condition of the cam chain?
Where can I get good quality polyurethane suspension bushes as mine are shot?!

I've just applied for membership so have not seen that part of the forum yet but from what I have seen elsewhere there are a lot of people here that really know their stuff so I'd be surprised if those questions would not be answered.

clutch cable, should be about 3mm of play at the gear box end

best way to descride look at theend of the clutch cable and youll see the adjuster,
you should be able to see a 10mm nut this neds to be slackend of to do this get a pair of pliers on the big (2.5cm diameter) ring that looks like a bottle cap then wind that in or out to adjust the free play then lock it back up with the 10mm nut

cam chain start the car up after a few seconds you shouldnt hear a ratlle, if you hear a rattle when the car is warm itll need either replacing or/and new tensioner
