Hi, my name is Dave. I am currently looking at getting an Almera SRi, 1997 P reg.
Know nothing about the cars apart from they are pretty solid and reliable, exactly what I need at the moment.
I was just wondering is there anything in particular that I need to look for on these cars or is there anywhere with a buyers guide. The car has done 76k and has got full Nissan service history from new.

Any advice or information would be greatly recieved.

almeras are pretty solid and reliable as you sed check for rust on the arches most bubble on the rear.
not to sure what to look for on the sri (ga16de) engine but get bonnet up check for oil leaks and start up noises. they are chain driven so dont have to worry about cam belt changes.
the sri owners on here should be able to help you out and try the search bar ;)

Have already had a scan through the search results but nothing realting to a buyers guide.

Any SRi owners out there with further info?
