Exhaust- mid and back box - PII GTi

Looking for new mid and back box for my GTi. At the moment I'm running with std equipment.
I’m looking for the best standard replacement units that will not reduce the performance and does not make loads of noise.
Can anyone help?

ive seen some neat backboxes on janspeed for the GTi, think its got a 100mm tailpipe but a bit steep at 200 odd quid i reckon

it's also cheaper than what Janspeed sell for on their own website

I did also enquire to longlife how much a cat-back system would cost.... they quoted me £600 odd quid!

I have the GTi janspeed cat back on mine, sounds great and looks just right, not too lartge at all, just subtle!

I was going to go for the Nissan one, but wondered if anyone had done any rolling road tests with different back boxes and mid pipe?

I dont think they wanted your business kaptain, they quoted me £329 for a 2.25" cat back system on an N15 GTI . . .

(mines a phase 1 though, but it shouldnt make best part of £300 difference)

and MIJ quoted £269, but they are a bit far for me to go!

Its the whole exhaust system from the catalytic converter back to the tailpipe

Nissan say for Nissan parts its mid £117 Back £136.
Lobitos - in North Wales say £195

you'll need a gti mid section from the cat to fit the back box on your car

I've been quoted £275 from Longlife and Z-ex for a cat back system for a GTi.
They can make it as loud or quiet as you like.
