Failed NCT, dammit!

Hi guys, went for the NCT last friday, failed on wiper linkage being too loose and the idel speed of the engine being set too high? Does anyone know where I could get the linkage besides a main dealer who wants €160 for it! And what caused the idel speed to stick high, as I've been driving it again the past few days and it seems fine now???

Any help would be great thanks!!

Heaters/aircon turned on causing high idle?

No was all off, I put some wd40 on the trottle cable where it connects to the engine and that seems to have sorted it, seemed to be getting stuck.

Was sticking around 1500, sometimes 2000 even after driving for 30mins, the WD40 has sorted it now though
