Finally had a go!!

Finally got round to having a go at the dreaded wheelarch rust,didnt turn out to bad for saying i've never done any bodywork before,but ended up painting the the whole rear quarter panel as the paint match was shit!!,but the car was three different colours before i started anyway,this should make me get the re-spray sooner rather than later.Anyway a few pics.

I know theres a bad join line,i'll probably rub it down and paint it again

No bad fat all!!! Needs another couple of coats and nice shiny top coat, but nice and smooth.

How long did it take?

It took about 8 hours in total
1- grinding
2-kurust
3-filler and lots of sanding
4-primer and paint

Probably take another couple of hours to re-paint
