First post - can't unlock the car - HELP!

H i there - maybe someone can help. My mother in law (can't use the web) got herself an 04 Almera and neither of the remotes will open the car. the boot wasn't closed completely so I'm thinking maybe this has run down the battery.... So, neither remote will open the car. There isn't a keyhole I can see for a non-remote opening and I can't get to the manual.


Can anybody advise? There are a couple of posts that mention fobs with lights on. These key fobs have no LEDs and have Siemens VDO on the back.

Sorry, didn't see your post until now! Yeah the passenger side plastic cover should pop off, same as renaults. Sorted it yourself anyway :)
