Fitting boost gauge to Di?

Hi am new to this but I need to know if I have fitted my boost gauge right!! I have a 2001 2.2di sport+ I t'd the vacuum hose that came from the turbo to the wastegate IS THIS RIGHT? the gauge reads fine when I put my foot down reads just over 1 bar about 15psi but then doesn't read any vacuum just drops to 0
 
You gotta T it or tap into the inlet pipe going up to the inlet manfold. :)

Ed tapped his into the little cast nobly bit on it iirc.

Ok so do I drill and tap the inlet steel pipe and run it from there?
I'll post sum pics 2morrow to show you where I have T in to it

Only on VNT / DCi.

What you've done it right mate, and with a Diesel there is NO vacuum as there is no throttle butterfly.
 
Tell me about it on mine there is No vacuum hose
anywhere coming of the inlet manifold and my final option was the hose from turbo to wastegate
