Trying to fit a neons at front of engine near grill, its mounted ok but cant find a place to feed it from the engine bay into the car so i can have a switch for it. Took it through one hoping it goes to glovebox but behind glovebox theres a 'wall' of stuff and no way through. Only other place is aircon pipes i think but then where do they go?

Any idea where it can be fed through in to car?

Cheers
Dave

Remember the neons made out of plastic mate , Assuming its near the front grill , at a guess id say the manifold temp (even more so if you aint got a shield) is gonna practically melt the thing

Its bang behind the grill and has been mounted over a day now. Its not exactly in teh engine just near it but wires have to go through it. Driven quite a way since fitting on and still fine but need a way to put wires through!

there's a rubber grommit on the passengers side of the bulk head, its on its own so easy to spot, feed your wire through here it comes out at the glove box, iv got my amp power cable comming in there,

Think thats the one we tried, did you remove anything from behind glove box or did it just pop through?

Cheers, will try again i think

got an amp wire going through there its a bit tight behind your glove box but it should drop through ok

they wont melt i've had one above the manifold for over a year, the control boxes (for neon sound sensitive settings) are fitted to the side of my battery and ive had them vacuumised chrome to match the rest. I've also wired them to my bonnet switch so when its closed the lights go off since you dont need them any other time, just an idea matey ;)
