I'd be lying if i said i wasnt pissed off about all those years hard work but i gotta look at it as hes paid £9500 for the priviledge lol
 
Do I recall you saying it came with the Fuel deal? If so surely they won't be best pleased to learn it's being left to get dirty?

Yeah it did and still does however aslong as it looks good when on tour and at the shows they probably dont care mate

TBH though that gold engine is high maintenance by anybodys standards (even perfectionist me!) so i can imagine its in a pretty poor condition now :(
 
Yeah how often did you have to clean that thing? Even normal cam covers get dirty pretty quick!

I remember seeing it at JAE 2004 and thinking WOW lol

well if it rained the cover needed cleaning asap otherwise the salty roadwater would start almost immediately to eat the gold

rest of the engine was just wipe off though
 
I used a combination or meguairs, windowlene and the on the odd occasion Autoglym. TBH the sponsorship was good but i preferred to use what i was used to

That is true Ollie, but i never asked them, they asked me knowing full well i'd won 'best of britain' without there products ;)
 
think as far as ya promote their products with a minty mota, ad don't openly let out that ya don't even use their products they won't really be that bothered....ya hear ot happen all the time with other forms of sponsership....ie actors sports stars etc...
