Flat wiper blades

I have some of these on back order from 1stAutoBlades, as i'm an MSC member I get a 10% discount with them, but they've been in such high demand they've run out of 19" blades! I paid nearly a tenner more than the price there too so i'd go for that, I think they all include the universal fitting kit too.

I had a set on my Micra and they really did wipe the screen much better than my old Bosch ones!

I had a similar set of these blades. I got the Trico ones as Damo-SRi said to get these ones as he said they were good and I think the same they are very good :)

Buy them they are awesome. Also clean your screen well and appy Rain X to help repel water even more. Dont need to use my blades in a rain shower @ 60-70mph.

Excellent.

Before i go and buy, can i just confirm the size is right?

I was out earlier measuring speakers etc and it appeared my current blades are 19" and 17" long

which rain-X did you use. I used the wipes they worked for about 2 weeks and then it was back to normal again :(

Yellow bottle. Clean window with panel wipe, buff on Rain X, turn cloth and buff off, sprinkle a few drops of water on to screen, buff until clear and dry.

I have the blue bottle of RainX, stuff disapeared of my window yet, i give it about 2-3coats aswell though. I don't really fancy using ebay to buy these so does anyone know if can bought from Halfords or somewhere?

halfords dont sell them, no idea if anywhere else does though, most people want standard black wipers or tacky nasty chrome/pink etc so i doubt many places sell them

think i will get some of these, something a bit different and they look better than the old ones.

You can buy them from www.1stwiperblades.com - you have a PM ;)

I've bought two sets from them now and I can't fault them on service. You have to use IE for the website though, it's completely broken in Firefox! lol

I was wanting a set of those for the missus's car and couldnt find any, so think I'll be using that link.

this rainX stuff Ive never used, yet on all my cars who-ever has been in the car when its been raining and Ive just knocked the wipers off and let the water bead away itself have always thought Ive used some or similar, and the truth is Ive never used anything, not even polish or window cleaner, and just wash the car as per normal and then dry with chamois, sure I polish/wax the car but never the windows.
Im always using different shampoos too so its not something in one of those

weird

Just had an email from the guy I bought the wipers off - he hasn't got any for the next few weeks :(

So looks like i'm gonna get some Trico ones instead.

I've got the trico ones...they're awesome! give you a much clearer screen than standard ones and are silent too :) also look a lot better.
