flywheel's in.....

i cant fucking tell  it revs fast when its out of gear but thats it!!!!! the new gearbox is much better but the flywheel dont make a dirrerence!!!

i thought like i got nothing at first but after time it all came together, maybe needs breaking in. they do recomend a 500mile period but i went for from the off.

Why not give it some time to settle, then take it to a safe place and time it to 60mph?

Surely your not thrashing it straight after fittting it?
drive it like you stole it  nah just drive normal, dont go driving like a learner or nowt, dont be scared that you got to be gentle either. i find it better now its been in a while, maybe because i thought it was going to be a huge diffrence, or didnt know what to expect.

i expected to much i think i can tell a bit but thats it, it was off paul d gti, so will it still need bedding im? its had a good thrashing!

second hand, your lucky to get it to work right id say. i had trouble with a second hand fidanza and a new clutch, think the plate was worn to much and was making the bearing chatter its tits off.

i had a new one put in about 5000 miles ago so i guess is would have been ok the machanic said it was fine! he also told me to get a cold air feed to my k&n, i thought i had one but it must of fell off!!

Gutted you can't feel a difference mate i thought you would have been able to cos i could. You should have changed the release bearing. I do everytime the box is out

what like a chatter or slight knocking, and when you put your foot on the clutch it goes

Yes, just like that. My N1 gearbox had brand new bearings and i installed a new OE clutch release bearing when it was fitted....i still get the noise, so it`s normal.
