The P2 switch is on the indicator stalk (1st click fronts, 2nd click rear), so you could get a P2 GTi stalk & it should theoretically just plug straight in, if not, I can`t see why a P1 wouldn`t work.
i couldnt see any wiring behind that little panel, can see blue caps(relays?)
yeh i know about the relay, i might have to go with the phase 2 option then .Could get into a bit of trouble with my wiring skills!
