front speakers

alright guys, does anyone know of a good make for some component speakers that will actually fit into the front of an almera Gti???? i took out the standard ones the other day and i couldnt really see how i could get some to fit without a wooden spacer. Also do you know which wire is which because i have some weird-ass cable things in the doors lol i am looking to spend about £70-80 on speakers.

get some infinity components about £85 crisp quality and probably need to make some mdf spacers but think vauxhall ones might do the job if you got the flat wiring i think you can buy autoleads connectors for that
 
with that money i'd probably go for Infinity as Iffy said.
You will need spacers tho. You can make them out of MDF.
As for the ribbon type thingy wiring, i aint got a clue
 
dony buy speakers from halfords as most of there speakers are half rate and overpriced,, trt TFG mailorder they are a company from round my way and they have built some stonkin systems in cars lots of trophies on display in his shop. very helpfulover the fone etc
 
i knocked up some MDF spacers in about 5 mins. Cant remember if i used 1/2" or 3/4" but they JUST fit behind the door card.

EDIT:

Oh, and you'll be wanting 16.5cm speakers.
