front wipers - intermittent working, need help/parts please.!

got an N15 equation, the front wipers when put on intermittent, stop/cut out while trying to work, have to jiggle the stick to get them to set down to resting position. where can i start looking for a fix, do i need a part that is known to fail, if so, need it

There is a wiper control box behind the dash. Pull the glovebox out and look left.

Replace this and your problem should be fixed. And its pocket size

If not it will be the wiring on the plug on the wiper motor. I had to jiggle it about then tape it in place where it worked on the autech.

Imo its the Wiper arm, changed that on my old Si and that sorted it

clean the connections on the block plug into the wiper motor, earth in particular
