Fry's black Phase2 Gti

Hey!
Finally got some photos up on here!! :)
Got the Phase 2 Gti in April 2007, it was standard apart from full Powerflow system with de-cat.
It needed a bit of tlc as there was rust bubbling through badly on all 4 wheel arches
Here a a few pic of what i have done so far:

Opinions?!?! i have also got clear side repeaters in the post

Looks nice mate, if you havent already then im sure the rear splitter can be rebuilt. The De-wipered hole could do with a smooth gommet to make it look a bit less obvious.

Also have the standard plates in the car for WHEN you get raped for the blackones.

Top effort mate.

looks rele tidy m8, like it- nice rims. I agree, you WILL get raped by the police for those plates but you no the risk your takin- just dont moan when u get caught! The re-spray is an essential part in what you've done to that car

IMO black number plates are not worth having your crushed over.

You're gonna be a pulling magnet, and I mean the sort with hi viz jackets!

Nice enough motor tho.

Got my side repeaters today, not yet fitted as it is bucketing down outside!

Oh, the black number plates only lasted a week & a half, got pulled over but luckily they let me off! i had to change them back to standard ones & take the car to an MOT testing station where they stamped a form to confirm i now had the correct colour number plates & correct spacing etc. The two coppers said it was a shame i had to change them back as they "look smart"!

Bit rubbish atm, havent got a computer to get on the net so i come on here as & when i can!!!!

Thanks for the comments guys - what do you think next??
I will tidy up the engine bay soon as it is a right state!
I may change the exhaust as i have the receipt for it- it was fitted in 2004 in Newcastle upon tyne! I do like it though - not overly loud which is good in some ways!

Looks nice, mainly cuz it looks almost identical to mine :P same colour, rims style everything.lol.
Yet to get sum pics of mins up tho.

De-globe those indicators tho...

Get the satin black out for the engine bay, Chrome is a bitch to keep nice on UK roads and ill never do it again, Chrome hard piping, battery cover etc. Use gloss and satin black to give a 'fresh out of the factory look' paint the washer bottle top and radiator expansion bottles too, makes a hell of a difference.

If it was mine the next mod i'de do would be to colour code the rear lights. The lense surrounds are that styandard light colour tint but i think if u black them in completly it would look alot better

Hey just a bit of an update really-

The GTi is up for sale & i have now got a new car. I know they are not very popular with people on here but i have always liked them & have always wanted to own one at some point :)
