Fuel filter location

Hi I am new to this site so i apologise if I'm in the wrong bit.
I have an almera tino 1.8 petrol 2002 and can't find the fuel filter anywhere. I managed to order the part by no. Plate so I would presume it does and should have one. I also bought the Haynes manual which is not clear on the location at all. Have serviced the car apart from this can any one help please
 
it's in the fuel tank and is not a service item.

You dont need to change it unless there is an issue with it.

Sorry to be a pain but in the Haynes manual it says it's in the bulkhead and I was supplied an inline filter by putting number plate in just want to check your 100% on that if ok. Thanks for helping so quickly
