Fuel...how much does it take to fill your tank?

Now then,

Been runnin mt GTI now for a couple of weeks now, just wondered about others,
How much fuel do you use, and how much does it cost to fill it from half full.
I have just done 110 miles and its just gone below the first quarter mark
now iam lucky, my boss supplies me with free fuel, so i never no how much i put in as theres no meter on itig
How big is the GTI tanks???

If you hammer it you will be lucky to get 100 miles out of first quarter. Drive sensibly on a run and you could reach 130-140miles. Tank is 45 litres big. Get about 280 miles - 310 miles on tank.
The best mpg i have achieved is 43 mpg on a run to Stoke on Trent and back. Should cost you about 22-24 quid to fill from halfway on current fuel prices.

Mine was completely empty the other day and it only took 46 litres which accounts for the tubing to the tank as well. I have read somewhere that it is only 45 litres cant remember where though

i got 450 miles out of the tank when i drove to Fort William last year...very economical sitting at 70 for hundreds of miles!
 
VZ-R's are a pain in my ass on petrol. Fair enough I might drive it a bit hard sometimes but it costs 50e to fill give or take a few euro and i'll get 350km out of it, about 260 miles, and thats a good week! The De-Cat definitel doesn't help it though!
 
58 mpg from my 2.0d N15. Not the best 0-60 time on here but 632 miles to a tank with the price of fuel as it is, is bound to count for something!
