Full body respray

How much do you reckon a full body respray would cost for my car?

Considering this as there are some parts of the car that are more "blue" than other parts and the other *cough* area *cough* that i cunted

Seen as my car's a metallic colour i would ideally like just re-done in the original colour, Metallic Blue BV4 :D

Any ballpark figures?

is it really worth it though? be suprised if it was done so you really couldnt notice it at all, might just raise some questions when it comes to selling it. and arent you after a vzr or gti anyway? not worth spending that sort of money on a car if you not certain that you really want to keep it that long

if youre keeping it, and wanna get ir resprayed, why not just get a different blue? like skyline r34 gtr blue? cant u get it done cheaper through your dealership cos you work for them?

Yeah - no-one's interested in it so i might as well keep it... Will serve me well as long as there's no more DIY from yours truly on it...

Will it be cheaper getting it done in a different colour than just re-doing it in the original colour?

if you don't mind travelling to Dundee to get it done i can contact the guy who does all my work and get a quote for you

Aye go for it bud - wouldnt mind a quote... Colour code would be preferable as well but not essential

be cheaper to get a similar colour than a totally different one, like say white

Nah defo wanna keep it blue - was Andrew smiths car's colour standard from nissan?

Skyline blue sounds nice but my shade of blue will do just nicely :D

problem with even a slightly different colour is that around the door shuts and other little areas like that would have to be sprayed, if it stayed the same colour i think they would just be left. may only be little areas but it all adds up and there probably more time consuming than most other bits of the body are to prepare, may make a big difference to the overall price

jeah its standard colour paul

ref- JP1- NISSAN YELLOWISH GREEN

was only available in phase 1's then they changed to Tropical green for the phase 2's

I normally pay about 300-350 pounds for full body resprays, it's pretty decent job too.

If your going to keep the car dont go for the cheapest job possible as ul never be trully happy.(they are cheap for a reason as on a full respray the parts alone should be about £300 for good quality products) Im lucky as my old mans a sprayer so i get bits sprayed for free! :) But even i go to my mates and pay for certain bits as he gets a better finish as uses a different type of paint.
