Evening all.

Joined to take a look at the members rides and photos to see what kind of things are being done to almera's.

Im looking at getting a p2 gti after xmas preferably with the factory kit. I currently own a phase 1 306 dturbo with about 110bhp running 23psi and increased max fuel.

Its a great car but im looking for a change.

What are easy mods on the gti's other than the usual exhasut intake etc. Can they be remapped?

Loved peugeot 306's one of the only cars on the road that look better in 5 ddor than 3 lol...

used to have a 306 myself nice cars

but you cant go wrong with a almera... realy underestimated cars... get your self one... you wont go back

Heyup, mera red GTi made a similar change a while back when he bought his GTi, hope you find a good one!

Welcome. Get yourself a GTi they are a lot of fun and very underated.
As for mods apart from the usual exahust and manifold, there are a few different cams around, induction, coilovers and they can be turbocharged but you need a bit of wedge if you want it done properly. The SR20 in the GTi is very basic and undertuned, which means it has a lot of potential.

^speaks the truth. Nissan have a habbit of over engineering everything so most of their engines have this potenial. As you might be into diesels their 2.2 is another example. 136hp from 2.2? Not likely more to be had.

Probably be looking for about £1000 ish, besides a few small dings and drivers bolster on seat its immaculate inside and out. New valeo clutch 2000 miles ago, refurbed rear axle about 5k ago and full service inc glow plugs all genuine parts about 3k ago and will be done again before i sell after xmas.


So with a decent mani, straight through exhaust, cam and intake what kind of power figures can i expect from a gti? and rough 0 - 60 figures?
