Hi guys n gals

Ive just sold my 249 bhp sx and picked up one of these almera gti thingmy bobs as it looked nice and was nissan lol

Have a few questions.

Did i get a good deal?
I picked up my red p plate almera gti totally standard( i think) 98 k with fsh ( almost all dealer too) for £1000. HAs a few tiny spots of bubbling but nothing major as of yet.

Als lookin around it seems mine has different side skirts and bottom of front and rear bumpers look different to alot of here. Ill get picks up when im home later but the previous owner was told later almeras usually came with these??? whast the craic there??

Also Lowering. What kits are available and how low do they go?

Sounds like a decent deal. Just keep an eye on the bubbling!!

The GTi has skirts and lower splitters front and rear whereas other models dont have them. Theres a difference between phase 1 and phase 2. Your being on a P reg will be a phase 1.

For lowering, choice of PI, Eibach or GMAX (for the phase 1 only). If you have the money, coilovers can be bought for around £590 upto around £1200!

Welcome to the Almera club mate you cant go wrong with one, you got a good deal mate I just got mine a few months back

1998 R Reg 38k miles some service history all MOT's £2000 i paid.

nice well so far im pretty impressed with it. it grips well, goes well and is nice to drive so it should do for a good while. Don;t tink ill do much to this. got a scorpion full system coming from a guy on here this week and once thast on ill prob leave it alone. I was eeing up a pulsar engine for it as ive done loads of conversions like these in the past but it makes me think why not just go buy a pulsar?
 
Alright Fraz...I used to live in Stepps mate, bud I just live up the road from you now in Denny with the missus!

Although the GTi is being ripped apart for parts...it's legend will continue in the Micra...LOL!
