does any1 know how to get the original gaitor off my gti?? and is the original knob just screwed on REALLY tight?

Have a search mate, sure its been covered before

The original knob is glued and screwed on, just give it a proper turn and you'll break the seal and it'll come right off. Not sure about the gaitor as im just repeating what someone else posted a while back.

once the knob is off, the rubber surround can be uncliped at the bottom and it pulls straight off.
