What have other people done to their car in spare time etc? Need some ideas? Think i am going to colour code the dash but can't think of anything else what so ever.
Cheers for any suggestions guys

there's loads you can do mate

some suggerstion's

de-globe your front indicators.
paint dash parts
clear side repeaters
colour code the rear lights (outers) leaving the white and red bubble
build a boot install, mine took a bout a month (something to keep u busy)
clean up the engine bay a bit.

all things that are relavetely cheep to do

cool, cheers for that :) talking of painting dash parts, is it a case of spray painting? or sanding it down then using some special paint?

come on people help me out here, no1 ever seems to reply to my posts, lol

spraying the interior plastics is really straight forward, just the same principle as spraying a pannel on a car

1. Sand down the items required, use coarse to fine sand paper for a smooth
finish. (can get this from a car shop)

2. Prime the parts with a can af primer (Usually grey, this will show up any
imperfections)

3. fix any imperfections with further sanding, primer again

4. Rub down with wet & dry sandpaper

5. apply spray, ( colour you are going to spray the parts)
may need a few coats.

6. Apply laquer, also comes in a can, just seals the paint and easier to keep
clean

Thats about it really, not to difficult to do, :)

Or you can use Flexible Vinyl Paint, that will actually dye the PLastic rather than just covering it, making it immune to chipping , flaking etc. I didnt notice the need for such paint on the Dashboard, but when doing the Door handles , you realise how much wear & tear they get
