well got the full stainless on manifold, down pipe, de-cat, centre pipe, and a 4"burnt tip! and i cant even tell, yes it sounds mint but no gain i think :( :( if anything i think it feel's slower! it might be because my gear box is shagged???? my mate just got a gti and he was gaining on me nearlly got past untill i got in the way, but he would of if i didnt! would it be better with my normal air box on? just got a k&n on...........................
 
What's the diameter of the new exhaust system?

The K&N will be fine as long as there's a nice fat cold air feed pipe aswell.
 
theres nothing to see, ok hang on ill take some pics........... there coming just uploading now took a few of my car to, no taking the piss out my rust mind!! and the dint in the back 2 days after i passed my test, backed up into a wall, looking at the same wall now i dont know how i didit!!! also i took them very fast as i felt like a tit!!

i felt a good diffrence over standard, what inch pipework you got? i had a 2" before igot this 2.25" and felt a diffrence with both, maybe you have got problems elswhere
 
remember reading on NPOC i think it was a while back that somebody had fitted one of these, drove it for a while without noticing a difference (could have been 15 minutes but i cant really remember tbh) then suddenly it felt different as the ECU had adjusted itself. if you have raced with your mate i would of thought you have done a good few miles since it was installed but just thought i would mention it, might notice a difference tomorrow or something

itl last another year or so then ill be selling im just getting all my mods, i want a mint phase2 then swap everything over, i know its a waste of money but i wanted to hear that exhaust its not that loud really kinda dies off at 5000rpm!!
 
Nice set up but who welded the backbox support bar on, a blind monkey? Is the welding on the rest of the system that good quality?
 
Hmm i am getting a maifold soon maybe it does needs a good run to notice anything! Maybe put your cat back on! I Put a decat on my sacorpion system and it flet slower! I re-fitted my cat and it was bob on again!

And the rust! Mines just the same! I maight sand it all off and pian t it all wid hamerite or something!

seems really steep, like a 90 degree bend, mines much more straight and after fitting my full exhaust system in one go like yourself, ive noticed a HUGE performance increase. The car is honestly about 10 mph quicker at top speed...... :confused:

yes the welding is pants but you cant see it until your under the car so its ok!!
