Gti in Yeovil

Was driving behind Green N15 GTi in yeovil this afternoon around 5ish. Reg: R6**VJM.
Was hoping for a little fun coming off the roundabout up the dual-carriage

(only up to 60mph

as racing on roads is not big or clever

) but he pulled into the new Somerfields garage.

theres a few around this area chap, though most are owned by non-enthusiasts so to speak.
ive seen a darker green ph1, a ph1 in that almost gold colour (driven by an oap!), a red ph2 (guy who works where i do), my mates mint ph2 in blue, and ofcourse my black ph2.

I have seen quite a few SRI and standard one around here but no other GTI's.
Your the Chap who got some body work and spray done, aren't you? I'm looking for a decent place to get my arches, wings and full respray done, any recommendations for round this area?

yerp thats me, well i went to autorefurbs in crewkerne, they did my rear arhces, front wings, mirror covers and front bumper all in for just shy of £500.
theyre on the crewkerne industrial estate.

My GTi can be found floating around Krewkerne a lot of the time as my girlfriend lives there. Blue Ph2.

Boy'Dup theres another blue ph2 gti in crewkerne which is my mates one, which is immaculate. He lives up the hill as you go outa crewkerne towards yeovil on the right handside. looks standard but it isnt underneath.

Will do Schnakey. Though i plan not to have mine for much longer if all goes to plan.

Yeah spot on.

My mate has had alot done to his calibra down there and if theres anything not quite right he takes it back and they sort it asap for no extra charge.
Same with another friend whos currently having a full respray on a astra gsi, it started off having the arches pulled for 18's and they had loadsa trouble with it, in the end he asked for the whole car to be done.lol.

The guy who owns the place is Dave Cridge, top chap who learnt the trade working for Honda, and has been on his own for quite a few years now, the buisness is growing quick as word spreads.
