Gti Starter Motor

The starter on my Gti has jus started to die off, am gonna get a replacement second hand, was wondering if anyone could tell me if the starter off a 1.6 would be the same or if i need to find a Gti replacement????

Any help would be greatly recieved........

different engine so a different starter, you need to find an SR20 one

There is an ebayer seller called virgin auto parts who I bought a starter off, very quick delivery and a few of the lads from here has used them, expect to pay around sixty or seventy pounds and as above, you'll need one off a gti or vzr

primera ones fit as well thats what im useing and ive got no problems with it

Buy one off an Almera breaking and save some pennies..
