Had my head unit in since ive had the car with no problems. All well and good.

Now any time theres a slight bump it goes off and comes back on again.
Loose connection you say,
Well ive looked at every plug, plugged it back in and put a small tie around it so they aint comin loose.
But the problem is still there.

One thing is the connection for the aerial, gets incredably hot for no apparent reason, the connection is tight.
I know these can be the cars earths but im led to believe my earth is through the casing.
Anyone have any input?
Hope its not some gash in the unit,

the casing isnt really good enough for earthing so they tend to use the aerial too, get a earth on it.

the first thing would be to try is another headunit and see if that goes off, then you'll know if its your wiring in the car somewhere or the headunit
